Coracias caudata (Linnaeus, 1766) |
The Lilac-breasted Roller is a bird of the family of the Coraciidae to whom also the european roller belongs (Coracias garrulo). All the representatives of this family draw a lot attention for its living colors that sleep very loud especially in the males. The “picture”, taken in the Samburu National Reserve, is very little retouched, only in brightness, with small changes of reduced noise but the colors are the natural ones without increase of the saturation. |
