Fucus vesiculosus

The bladder wrack (Fucus vesiculosus) it’s the most common brown alga (Phaeophyceae class) of Atlantic ocean, abundant in Portugal coast, this is a non vegetalorganism, it’s of the Protist’s kingdom.The apical portion of the thallus is dichotomous, flattened and with a large float containing gas, the air vesicles with a flotation function.

The photography is taken near the Miño river at north of Porto.
